Muse is built to fit around the way you already keep, edit, and share photographs.
Where are my photos stored?
Muse works with the originals in their existing folders. It does not copy, move, rename, or upload them just to build your library.
What can I import?
Bring in work from Apple Photos, Lightroom, Eagle, Google Takeout, or XMP sidecars. Muse can carry over albums, folders, keywords, ratings, labels, edits, and Lightroom presets.
Which file types can I export?
Export the files you need as JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, or WebP. Choose the size, quality, color space, bit depth, and metadata settings before the files leave.
Can I save export settings as presets?
Yes. Save a repeatable export recipe and use it again for another collection, whether you are making a client proof, an archive master, or a web-ready set.
Can I make a contact sheet to share?
Yes. Arrange a collection as a grid or rows, make a paginated contact sheet, and save it as a PDF for review, selection, or print.
Does Muse upload my library?
No. Search, analysis, and editing happen on your Mac. The only files that leave your Mac are the ones you explicitly export or publish to your own Google Drive.
